First Day of School!

My Baby is all grown up and going to Preschool! She started last Thursday and LOVES it. She asks me every day, "Mom are we going to school today?" This week was special because she got to be the teachers helper and bring a special show and tell item. I can't believe I'm old enough to have a child in school! AAAAAAHHHHH!

Just in case you were wondering...

Well for those of you who have noticed my waistline slowly oozing over my pants, it is not due to the fact that I have been over-indulging in sweets and treats, it is because IM PREGNANT! We are about 13 weeks along and so far so good. This child will be making his or her debut January 17th. That seems very far away, but there are a lot of good things coming up that will hopefully help the time pass quickly!

Time flies when you are having fun...Well, in my opinion this statement is totally true! April flew by and so many exciting things have happened. We kicked off the month with a Birthday Girl! Adelyn Paige turned 4. Holy Cow! How do I have a 4 year old? I asked her a few weeks before her birthday what she wanted to do and she told me she wanted to go to the temple to see the princesses (brides) come out. So of course we granted her wish and she luckily got to see a princess and prince! We then spent the rest of the day at Fiesta Texas.

This month we were looking forward to going here for a vacation that Nate won through a company he works for:

But, Because of this:

We got to go here:
Cabo San Lucas
Yes it was paradise! We had a blast! We rented dune buggies, 4 wheelers, jet skis, flew across canyons on zip lines, repelled, snorkeled, saw 2 whales, danced, ate, and just relaxed by the pool. You can watch a video of our whale watching...it was pretty crazy. My parents, Nate, and I were all hanging over the edge of the boat and got a pretty wild ride. The waves were huge and it felt like we were flying as we sailed up and down. I couldn't believe that we came that close to a live whale! It was awesome!

Last but not Least, My Brother got engaged on Saturday night! We are so excited for him and Kinzie. We are so happy to have her as a part of our family! They make such a great couple!

Everything is Bigger in Texas...Including the Snowflakes!

Today we are having a TEXAS sized snow storm! I have lived here my whole life and have never seen it snow like this! We were even able to make a TEXAS sized snowman...actually it looks more like a snownerd, but whatever! My poor children don't even own gloves...we had to use socks for Bensons hands to keep them warm! Can't wait for it to warm up to 60 degrees tomorrow! Gotta love this Texas weather!
