Princess Bumble Bee Ballerina and a Fire Man

Happy Halloween!

Fall Fun

Fall wouldn't be fall without a Fall Festival to attend. By Far the favorite activity was the petting zoo. Since I am anti-animal-in- the-house, my kids are deprived of the special bond between humans and animals. So thank you fall festival for filling this void in their lives!

Adelyn LOVED the bunnies!

Adelyn on her noble steed. This girl loves to ride horses!
Benson wanted to ride the BIG pony

Oh yeah, we also rode on a "train", took a hay ride, got to explore a fire truck, jumped in the bouncy world, painted pumpkins, and ate cotton candy! What a day!

The Lake

Benson is a total boy. His favorite things consist of throwing rocks, picking up sticks, playing in dirt, climbing, and wearing his favorite hat. We decided to take a trip to the lake so he could participate in all of these activities! It was a dream come true for the little man! While we were there, we also ran into a little family of ducks. Luckily we had an old PP&J in the car to share with them!
Can you tell he likes Big Sticks?

Nesting

Ok So I am totally in nesting mode! Yesterday I folded like 50 loads of laundry, cleaned my bathroom, reorganized my pantry and cleaned out my refrigerator. Today I got a craving for pizza and wanted to try making one homemade. I have to give myself a pat on the back because it was pretty darn good for a first time pizza maker, if I do say so myself. Papa John's better watch his back!
Ever feel like you want to just get away for a few days? Well we did and so we went to California for a much needed break! Nate had a business trip in San Diego and I didn't want to get left behind...so the whole family went. We had a great time at the temple, aquarium, beach and of course Disney Land! The best part was Disney. Adelyn loved meeting the Disney Princesses and Benson loved the Buzz Lightyear ride. As we were leaving the park Benson said, "That was fun!" Adelyn got to go on her first "big kid" ride Splash Mountain...She of course loved the huge drop at the end and got totally soaked! We were also able to spend time with Nate's sister Michelle, who recently moved there. It was a great trip!

First Day of School!

My Baby is all grown up and going to Preschool! She started last Thursday and LOVES it. She asks me every day, "Mom are we going to school today?" This week was special because she got to be the teachers helper and bring a special show and tell item. I can't believe I'm old enough to have a child in school! AAAAAAHHHHH!

Just in case you were wondering...

Well for those of you who have noticed my waistline slowly oozing over my pants, it is not due to the fact that I have been over-indulging in sweets and treats, it is because IM PREGNANT! We are about 13 weeks along and so far so good. This child will be making his or her debut January 17th. That seems very far away, but there are a lot of good things coming up that will hopefully help the time pass quickly!

Time flies when you are having fun...Well, in my opinion this statement is totally true! April flew by and so many exciting things have happened. We kicked off the month with a Birthday Girl! Adelyn Paige turned 4. Holy Cow! How do I have a 4 year old? I asked her a few weeks before her birthday what she wanted to do and she told me she wanted to go to the temple to see the princesses (brides) come out. So of course we granted her wish and she luckily got to see a princess and prince! We then spent the rest of the day at Fiesta Texas.

This month we were looking forward to going here for a vacation that Nate won through a company he works for:

But, Because of this:

We got to go here:
Cabo San Lucas
Yes it was paradise! We had a blast! We rented dune buggies, 4 wheelers, jet skis, flew across canyons on zip lines, repelled, snorkeled, saw 2 whales, danced, ate, and just relaxed by the pool. You can watch a video of our whale watching...it was pretty crazy. My parents, Nate, and I were all hanging over the edge of the boat and got a pretty wild ride. The waves were huge and it felt like we were flying as we sailed up and down. I couldn't believe that we came that close to a live whale! It was awesome!

LSW Awards night

Lands End

Last but not Least, My Brother got engaged on Saturday night! We are so excited for him and Kinzie. We are so happy to have her as a part of our family! They make such a great couple!
